During my year out I've ended up doing less art than I wanted to be doing, It sucks because I've been stuck in an 'Art Block' waaaay too long. Way longer than I would like to be, but this little crazy craft sesh has started to reboot my inspiration! Even if it was meant for 6-12 year olds.

Years and years ago I was given a button making kit for Christmas and I have this tendency to forget about presents, especially ones that are A-W-S-O-M-E. The reasoning being because I love them so much that I want to save them for the perfect moment, a moment I never manage to find and a lot of the time the really cool stuff ends up getting lost. But with all this time on my hands and ideas waiting to be made I finally thought, lets do it, there will never be a perfect moment for anything you've just got to go with the flow and live every moment to the full. So here I am making a change by making some cool ass pins!

This kit is incredibly fun, I've always been a huge fan of covering my bags and clothing (dungarees especially) with as many badges as possible. When it came down to designing the badges I really liked the look of the more minimalist designs, mainly sticking to colourful abstract and geometric patterns, rather than figures and objects. However I did give it a go with a doughnut and a party ring and they do, I will admit it.. look pretty cooool. And the best part is they are all handmade, Made by Liberty and I love that, makes them so much more sentimental. I have honeslty had a whale of a time making these and will continue to make more... Go give it a go!!!
