Olive bread & piercings

May 7, 2017

On this particular day I was feeling even more aggravated by my day to day regime...it's boring the hell out of me. So after what was an acceptably lengthy lie in...I decided to get up. For some this task comes naturally, however for me it's the first task I fail at everyday, but I managed it even if my first taste of food would be technically classed as Lunch.

I needed to get out the house, I was starting to get cabin fever and with that in mind I went to town with very little plans at all. I went from paying a cheque in, to sitting in a chair with a needle through my ear. I've wanted to add some more ear piercings for a while now but always managed to convince myself that I didn't have the time nor the money for it and I was probably right, however this time I chose to ignore it. Now I'm not entirely sure what the correct terminology for my piercings are, but I'm going to go with 4th lobe piercings, theres probably some spectacular, funky word for it that I'm too ignorant to learn, but a lot of the time I just point and hope for the best. In this case I decided to skip my 3rd lobe piercings and go straight to 4th and I love it! Currently I've got two swell bars in for about 6-12 weeks and will be impatiently waiting to change them to small silver hoops. Recently I quite like to keep all my piercings jewellery matching and my current phase is silver hoops. I mean it's a little boring and plain but it's so effortless, I know they all match and look nice together so no worries there, although I should probably start scouting around for some funky pieces...So, yeah that was probably the most spontaneous an exciting thing I've done in a while (what an exciting life I lead)

See, all of the above was exciting and fun, but now we're onto the serious part of the blogpost............FOOOD

I absolutely adore fresh homemade goods and just my luck there was a Farmers market going on in the Market place, B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. There wasn't a whole lot going on, there was a cheese stall, plants, meat and then there it was, the love of my life (at the moment, it'll probably change soon) OLIVE BREAD!!!! Ever since I tried the Co-op Mediterranean loaf, I absolutely love anything with olives in and I know it's going to sound crazy but it's only recently that I've started to like olives on their own. Back to the bread, it was a fresh loaf for only £2.95. I managed to resist the temptation to have a piece till the next morning, where I got up before lunch (round of applause) *thank you* and had some toasted olive bread, with a little spread of butter because I didn't want to detract from the taste too much, poached egg (slightly over done) and bacon, just call me Liberty Oliver (it's got quite a nice ring to it) It was INCREDIBLE, it makes my breakfast so much more exciting, a nice change from plain bread. So if your finding your breakfast a little boring lately, go get some freshly baked bread, especially a loaf with olives in.

I feel like this blog post was a bit more of a rant/insight to my day...ENJOY
